I met up with Andrea and Grant in Deland, FL. There was a lovely outdoor park-like setting close to their home. It was the perfect location to have an outdoor portrait session with their one-year-old daughter named Collins.
Yep, that's her name. Don't you love that? We couldn't have loved that name any more, then we found out her middle name is Reese. Collins Reese. How did they happenstance upon this name? Mom had a list of names she loved, and Dad loved Collins the most. A beautiful name, for a beautiful baby.
This one year old beauty was such a darling too. She never cried once during the entire session. No, not even once! I'm not making this up. She was adorably curious too with every bird, and every passerby.
Wait to you see how much she adores her "stuffies". That's what they affectionately call her stuffed animals. She loved them all, but her purple hippo was clearly her favorite!!
She's currently saying "Aw" and "Hi baby" to all the dogs she meets. When she plops down after taking a few steps, she says "Uh oh".
You'll see two adorable outfits on Collins for this photo session. The blue floral set her Lulu got her from a boutique. (That must be a code name for her Grandmother...Again, love it!). The adorable pink ensemble was purchased online from Poppy Kids Co. Find them here! Her pink quilted blanket was from the one and only Pottery Barn. You can find many adorable PB items for kids here: https://www.potterybarnkids.com/.
They wanted to remember Collins at this age, and we think these photos capture her beautifully.
Grant and Andrea, thanks for a wonderful session. It was such a pleasure to meet your family. It was hot as a match out there, but you handled it in stride, and we endured the heat, whilst capturing some gorgeous moments! Andrea, I'm so happy you jumped in some of the photographs. All in the family will no doubt treasure these for years to come. We can't wait to hear which are your favorites.
