Meet Breanna and her stunning horse Apache! He is a seven year old quarter-horse/paint mix. Wait until you see his beautiful markings!
I have been around horses most of my life (even having my own for a time). So, combining these two passions, horses and photography was right up my alley. Enter Breanna. We were thrilled when she reached out to us to photograph her and her horse together as a part of her graduate portrait session. Breanna and her girls (Haley, Maddie, & Lexi) joined in, and they were great moral support for Breanna. They helped with Apache, and also helped us get some gorgeous shots with those ears up. All you horse lovers know how difficult it can be to get that photo.. the one where everything comes together! Thanks, girls.
Breanna just graduated with honors (Cum Laude), from Stetson University in Deland, FL. She majored in Business Administration with a minor in Family Enterprise and Entrepreneurship. She has big plans. She's going for her MBA, then she plans on working full time for her Father's construction company. No doubt, her family is very proud of her accomplishments.
Horses have been a part of Breanna's life since she was young. She went to horse camps, and did 4H shows in Western Pleasure. Horses were a part of her Grandparent's lives on both sides, so it's just in her. I get that, because my Mother has a deep love for horses, and I too, share that same love. We look forward to the time when we can have horses again in the future.
We've been enjoying shooting beautiful graduates at Stetson University this season. But if you would have told us we would be shooting Breanna with Apache at Stetson, we wouldn't have believed it. We were just going to do our session at the park, and stay on the municipal sidewalks, but when the girls asked the nice Stetson employee if we could quickly get a couple of shots on campus near the fountain, he had no problem with it, whatsoever. Thank you, kind sir! We didn't want to do anything we weren't allowed to do, so this permission was perfect timing, as the sun was setting soon.
Breanna, we're so happy everything worked out during your session. Even the rain held off until the very end. We were super impressed with your prompt arrival. Apache was the best horse. So gentle. So willing. Congratulations on graduating, and enjoy forming a bond with Apache; he is truly magnificent. The bond between a horse and a girl can be very special. Enjoy the ride!
Here are just some of our favorites.
